The next generation of iPhone rumours are starting to build, and if even some of them turn out to be accurate, Apple could be preparing for a rather different launch cycle this time around.

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are both widely expected to arrive as part of Apple’s next premium iPhone refresh, while reports also continue to suggest that Apple could be preparing its first foldable iPhone.

But perhaps the most surprising rumour is that the standard iPhone 18 may not launch alongside the Pro models at all.

So, what are people currently saying — and which rumours are worth keeping an eye on?

The standard iPhone 18 could arrive later

One of the biggest rumours surrounding Apple’s next iPhone generation is a possible change to the company’s traditional launch schedule.

For years, Apple has introduced its main iPhone range together around the same time.

This time, reports suggest Apple could separate the launches.

The current rumoured schedule looks something like this:

Apple has long been linked with a foldable iPhone, and reports continue to suggest that the company’s first folding model could finally be approaching.

The device has been unofficially referred to by several names, including iPhone Fold and iPhone Ultra.
