The fraudulent email appears to originate from ‘DisneyPlus@costumercontact.com’ and promotes a 12-month Disney+ TV package for a mere £2, a supposed discount of 98%.

In contrast, the legitimate subscription costs £7.99 per month or £79.90 annually.

The email features an image of ‘The Avengers’ movie to lend credibility to the offer. The link in the email urges recipients to click and activate a trial of the service.
