- Marisa Abela: Known for her powerful portrayal of Amy Winehouse in Back to Black and her breakout role in Industry.
- Jharrel Jerome: Emmy Award-winning star of When They See Us, recently acclaimed for his role in the biopic Unstoppable.
- David Jonsson: The East London-born actor whose performances in Alien: Romulus and Rye Lane have earned him a spot on Variety’s “10 actors to watch.”
- Mikey Madison: Recognised for her role in Sean Baker’s Anora, as well as standout performances in Scream and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
- Nabhaan Rizwan: Star of In Camera and KAOS, bringing his unique talents to the forefront of British independent cinema.

This year’s nominees were selected by an esteemed jury chaired by Anna Higgs, BAFTA Film Committee Chair. The panel included previous Rising Star winners Letitia Wright and Mia McKenna-Bruce, BAFTA-winning writer-director Will Sharpe, and a host of industry experts.
